About This Weather Station

	Make and Model of Weather Station: Davis Vantage Pro 2. (Feb 2007)

	Physical location of anemometer and sensors: 28 feet above ground on a small radio tower, clear of obstacles that would cause invalid data.
	Location of Station: Tallow Wood Subdivision just down from Willow Brook Mall. 77070
	Reporting Software: Custom made software for the RISC CPU
	OS and PC info: Instead of a PC, it is using a ARM9 RISC CPU. This makes this site more dependable then using Windows and better for an industrial application. This box also takes about 1.5% of the power of a PC, the Moxa draws only 4.5 watts. Less heat and less power means less operating cost. A PC running 24 hours at 300 watts is about $35 per month added to your electric bill based on power depending on where you live. My nick name for this box is "MyWxBox".
	Note: "MyWxBox" is still in beta testing and will available from Ambient Weather soon.
	WebCam: In use here is a AVIOSYS 9060A-SL, it is an IP based web cam that for $80, get the image out. Not a great camera for snapshots for what is being uploaded to the site via the periodical FTP option, but for live video locally is it good. I would not get this one again for this application. This camera is a analog to digital operation. AD
